No Internet Connection

Posted by Kayce at 5:07 PM 1 comments
One of the main reason why I can't update all my blogs is that I don't have an internet connection yet. Ive been waiting for PLDT MyDSL's connection for more than a month now since their main line here in our place also got damaged from the flood. They said they have to order the so called fiber optic cable abroad and it could take them one month to fully restore their service. Weve transferred from our commercial rented house to our residential house so I asked them to transfer the line to our new address. They already surveyed our place so I do hope that they can reconnect our internet as soon as possible.

I have my SMART BRO plug it internet broadband usb but it takes forever before I could get connected to the internet. It has a very slow connection, its intermittent and unstable. I have to go to a place where the 3G connectivity is fast so I ended up going to an internet cafe so I could go online. Its such a hassle for me since I have to go to the city and find an i-cafe plus the fact that I have to pay for the internet usage. Haaayz! Please PLDT get my internet back! I felt like I'm already lost in the blogosphere for more than a month. Sadness :(

Home Pink Home

Posted by Kayce at 9:43 PM 0 comments
After cleaning all those muddy things that we have which was left from the flood, my family and I are so busy in transferring our things from our rented commercial house to our pink house. We finally slept in this house yesterday. My mom bought this house for my family a few months ago but we did not live in this house yet since it has no furniture and other household items. It doesn't have an internet connection too that's why we still prefer to stay at our i-cafe's commercial house.

But now since all of our computer units got damaged from the flood and we don't have money yet to invest on this business, we decided to move to our pink house and stay here. Although some of the newly bought things here in our pink house got damaged, were still thankful that we still have our old things that were recovered so we were able to use them. Were still a one happy family now that we live in our home pink home.

I Miss Blogging So Much! :(

Posted by Kayce at 10:43 PM 2 comments
Its been more than three weeks since I stopped blogging and I felt like I am lost in the blogosphere. I missed a lot of paid tasks and opportunities online aside from the fact that I find it hard to concentrate my mind into blogging. I have 20 blogs that needs to be updated and one of the main reason where I can't blog is that we don't have an internet connection yet.

I went to our internet service provider and they told us that it will take more than a month before they could restore the connection in our place since their main line was seriously affected and also got damaged from the flood. I have no choice but to go to the city and go online in an internet cafe. Haaayz! sadness :( but I have to do it so I could continue blogging. I just need more motivation so I could get myself back into my passion in blogging.

Life Goes On

Posted by Kayce at 4:39 AM 1 comments
Its been two weeks since we experienced the unexpected tragedy where our family was affected by Typhoon Sendong. We don't know how to start at first. My heart cried out after seeing all our things and belongings got damaged from the flood but we are thankful to God that my family and I are safe although we got some wounds and bruises after we jumped from one roof to another until we finally found a safe place to stay during the flash flood.

All our computers from our internet cafe got damaged and even my laptop got soaked with mud that's why I wasn't able to go online these past few days. We don't have our main source income anymore because we are not sure if our computers will work. As of now I only rely on my blogging income and some financial support of my family. I know that in due time, God will restore everything. Life goes on for our family as we face the new year with new hope. We welcome the new year with happiness and joy as we continue serving the Lord with gladness. Thank you Lord for all youve done. Youve been so good to us always....

Our Damaged House and Business Caused by Typhoon Sendong

Posted by Kayce at 4:35 PM 5 comments
The tragedy happened last Saturday,December 17 at around 12:45 am. I was aware when my fellow blogger and friend Mommy Rubz informed me about the storm coming here in our city. I heard the strong wind blows and the heavy rainfall. I keep on looking at the water outside our house. The electricity keep on fluctuating and it eventually blacked out. Hubby and I are still awake at that time and our daughter was already sleeping. When I tried to open the door again to check out the water level, it already entered our shop. I went panic so I immediately wake up my daughter and my hubby told me to get my bag, our phones and our digital camera. We climbed at our roof and hide at the branch of a mango tree. Good thing my hubby got our rechargeable lamp and it serves as our light. The place was so dark and it was freezing cold outside.

I heard so many people calling for our help. Their voices reminds me of the "Hell is real" video where people are shouting and screaming. As much as we wanted to help them but we just can't help them since we ourselves are struggling for survival. We earnestly prayed to God at that time asking for His help and mercy. We thanked the Lord for the immediate answered prayer because we saw our brother in law and our fellow church members who help us. We have no other options but to jump to the other roof. We jumped 4 times before we reached to the big 2 storey house.

My daughter was even thrown to the other roof but she was caught by her uncle. We find it hard to carry her cause we might fall on the flash flood. I was injured and got wounded when I jumped high on the roof but I didn't mind it. All I think is my family and I will be safe and secure. Thanked God we were able to get inside the 2 storey house. We stayed there until early in the morning. It was so heartbreaking to see people drowning, all the animals and the things that are washed away. It was even painful to see our things and belongings got damaged and all covered with thick mud. But we are not worried about it because I know God will restore all everything. We greatly thanked the Lord because my family and I are still alive. That's the most important thing. Thank you Lord!

Getting Enough Sleep

Posted by Kayce at 10:28 AM 3 comments
Everyone needs to sleep. That is the very basic thing that we need to do in order to keep our mind and body healthy. Being well rested is an important part of staying healthy as it will help us live longer and have a better memory. A lack of sleep can make depression worse for many people as it raise their stress levels, while getting enough sleep eases anxiety and regulates emotional stability in people experiencing depression.

Even in people who are not depressed, getting enough sleep can reduce stress levels and lower blood pressure. Sleep is indeed a great tonic for the emotions. They don't call it beauty sleep for nothing right? So while you sleep, your body repairs itself. Experts say you need eight hours of sleep to avoid puffy, dark under eye circles and a pale washed out complexion. In my case, I'm having a dry skin and a red, sleepy and tired eyes.

Getting enough sleep is an important matter for everyone. If you are not sleeping well, consider a schedule or environment change to help you sleep or try taking Kavinace Ultra PM because it is specially designed to help patients fall asleep as it provides a soothing and calming effects. If you need to make up for your lost sleep, take a nap in the day rather than waking up late. This allows you to pay off sleep debt without affecting the natural sleep wake pattern.

So, how is the quality of your sleep each day? Are you getting enough sleep too?
