Keeping The Love Alive in our Marriage

Posted by Kayce at 8:31 PM 1 comments

There are many ways on how to handle a certain relationship especially when it comes to love. Based on my experience, I felt my true love at the age of 19 when I was still in college. I had met my boyfriend Michael which had been later on became my husband. We had been lovers for 4 years and within that years we also had struggled a lot of trials in our relationship. Jealousy is one of the main reason why we had some arguments. However, we tend to manage it by proving to oneself that we never had a third party or clinging to another guy or girl. Within that 4 years of being together, I had known him for who he really is. His strengths and weakness, his do’s and don’ts, his likes and dislikes.

That’s why when he held my hand and ask me to marry him, I do not have any other hesitations or doubts and I immediately said YES to him! We had been married for 4 years now so we had been together for 8 years and with that 8 years of relationship, we do keep our love alive by having a give and take relationship. One must lay down one’s ego and pride, by being flexible and understanding each other’s thoughts and opinions.

Showing each others affectionate love and care is also very important for a relationship or marriage to work out. Being thoughtful by remembering little things means a lot too such as anniversary, birthday, the time and place where you have to meet each other and many other situations.

Constant communication also takes a huge part in a relationship that’s why when my hubby is not around working away, I used to call him or send an sms to him making sure his okay or just simply saying how are you and take care.

Both verbal and non-verbal talk saying I love you and I miss you is very important. It doesn’t matter if how many times you say it as long as it comes deeply from your heart.

One very important aspect of our marriage why we have a great and harmonious marriage is that we always place GOD at the center of our relationship. We have that fear of the Lord so every time we face some trials in our life, we can easily overcome it by holding each other’s faith and love.

My Views & Opinions of the Movie 2012

Posted by Kayce at 12:47 AM 0 comments

As a Christian believer myself, I do believe that we are living in the last of the last days. But Only God knows when He Will come back for the rapture. Only unbelievers like the atheist and scientists had these beliefs that doomsday or the world will come to an end. They had predict a specific year where they said its going to happen in 2012.

But for me, I do not believe in it. We cannot predict when it is going to happen. If we based it in the Bible, it is clearly stated in the Book of Revelation where there are some events that are foreseen like the happening of The Great Tribulation, the second coming of the Messiah which is our Lord Jesus Christ who brings out the restoration of peace to the world, the imprisonment of Satan where he portrayed as the Dragon in the Bible and until he is defeated for the final rebellion, God's final judgment over Satan, the Great White Throne of judgment which is the rapture of the living and the dead based on our own deeds and the ushering in of the New Heavens and New Earth which is promised by the Lord for us.

The movie shows some series of Doomsday event scenarios, worst disasters like the huge tsunami, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other natural phenomenon which was also written in the Bible and besides, we are already experiencing this kind of realistic disasters today.

However, like what I had said, we cannot predict when it is going to happen. For it is only God who knows when the earth will come to an end. He just promised us that those who remain Faithful to Him, will never be worry about it.

My $25 Payout from Microworkers!

Posted by Kayce at 3:12 PM 0 comments

I am happy today that I also received payment from MICROWORKERS. This is my 1st payment from them. The minimum payment is $9 but I decided to keep and save my earnings until I reached some huge amount that's why I received $25 from this site.

MICROWORKERS is about connecting people who need something done (Employers) with people who want to help (Workers). These "things that need to be done" are called "micro jobs".

Workers get paid when their Employer rates the task submitted as "satisfied". When a Worker logs into their account, they can check the status of various tasks they have submitted. If a task is marked "not satisfied" by the Employer, you (the MICROWORKER ) will not get paid. If a task is marked "satisfied" you will get paid. Workers can withdraw earned money through several different methods: PayPal, Check, Moneybookers, etc. After you have requested a payout, it takes up to 15 business days to process your payment.

Beach Escapade!

After the grief of my mother in law's burial last October 21 which took more than 1 week of restless nights and busy preparing for food and buying some needs of so many people who attended the burial, the civil wedding of my brother in law also took place last November 7 and it was again a restless day for us cause we are also busy preparing ourselves for our church activities and accompanying our relatives and friends who came from far away places where we seldom see each other. After all the busy days, me and my family on my hubby's side had decided to take a rest and relax for a day. We went to my mother in law's hometown in Libertad and Gitagum in Misamis Oriental and take a splash swimming in the cool Ocean View Resort. We had so much fun and its very relaxing! I feel so relieved and we are all happy spending some time together, with all the laughter and tears that we felt, it is a great time to enjoy and go on with LIFE even if we faced all the trials and problems, Life has to move on and We Still Can Enjoy Life to the FULLEST!!!

Civil Wedding... The Christian Way

Posted by Kayce at 1:12 AM 0 comments

It was the civil wedding of my brother in law last November 07, 2009. We attended the wedding and there was about 25 people who where there to witness their unity of love. It was a different wedding since it is not the Lawyer/Attorney who did the matrimony because we are all Christians and it was the Pastor who did it. These is also what we did when got married 4 years back with my hubby.

For me, its even more intimate and with full of love and blessings while doing the civil wedding, the Chris
tian Way. The Pastor had thoroughly explained what is it about marriage, how to handle it and how to work out the marriage together with God's will and plan for the marriage to grow strong.

I am happy f
or these young couples who finally got married and settled together with God's blessing and will for their lives. I just keep on reminding them that they should Always Place God at the center of their marriage.

Death & Funeral Services? Payments?

Posted by Kayce at 4:46 AM 1 comments

Well, I think you are all a bit scared or confused what I am talking about on my blog post here. I just want to share all of you my friends on our experiences when we had a burial services for my mother in law which had happened 2 weeks ago. She died last October 21 and my husband, who is her 2nd eldest son was the in charge in managing all the payments and bills. Of course I am with him helping him all throughout the funeral and burial service.

We actually don't have the money to pay but it was my sister in law, the eldest daughter who paid all the expenses. We had expected that the hospital bill would cost around $2,700 because she had been admitted to a private hospital for 2 days, in a private room, with lots of prescribed medicines, the usage of the oxygen, and she had been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit Room. But we are surprised that the hospital bill only costs around $900. Too far from what we had expected which is $2,700. But as my father in law said, "Even if its too far from what we expected to be the total amount of the bill, they can never turn back and rescue the life our death mother".

However, we faced another payable which is the funeral service from the funeral parlor, a package worth $1,900 and that includes the imbalming of the body and 7 days funeral services where family and friends could visit.

And not only that, we had also spent money for food for relatives and friends, coffee, every night, our transportation and other miscellanous fees. And we are surprised that for 7 days, me and my hubby went out to do the grocery shopping and we usually spent around $50 in 7 days. There are a lot of people coming in for the funeral service that's why we have to occupy them all.

Another thing that we had prepared is the interment services or the place where the body has to be buried. It is another huge payment which costs around $2,025.

The death of my mother in law was really an unexpected death. All of us are really in shock and unprepared for it.

My sister in law who payed all the expenses really had a hard time to provide all the payments. She had made an emergency cash loan so we can pay all the expenses of our mother's death.

She was working and living in the U.S. and because of our mom's death, she has to come home together with her 4 kids. And just imagine how it is so hard to come home without money to pay for the plane ticket and other expenses?

But God is so Good that there are still few good hearted people who helped her and her kids in providing their plane ticket fare back and forth. Though they only have a little pocket money brought here but we are very much thankful to God that they came home safe and sound and had able to attent the burial service of our Dear Mom.

But we had came to know that my mother in law is a member of Social Security System and as we went there to ask for more information, we knew that we can receive a burial payment for the berieved family which was around $1,125.

I was just thinking that it is Not That Easy when somebody of our family will die. Specially when you are not prepared emotionally and the most painful thing, when you are not financially prepared for that.

Grieving on My Mother-in-Law's Death

Posted by Kayce at 4:12 AM 1 comments

I was offline for more than 2 weeks because of the unexpected death of my mother in law. She passed away last October 21 due to "Cardiogenic Shock" because she had a Type 2 Diabetes Melitus. Her death was cause by a high risk of sugar level which was around 460 and her heart was affected on it.

We did not expect these thing to happen on my mother in law because she was in a good condition that week. She was actually the Senior Pastor of our Church and it is so hard for us to accept and recover from this kind of situation.

But despite of these trials, we are happy that Our Senior Pastor, My Mother in Law is now in heaven happily living together with our Lord Jesus Christ.

For most unbelievers say "Condolence" on our part but for us, Christians and as a true believer of Christ, it is "Congratulations!"... Why? because she is now living in a place with no sorrow and pain, no heartaches, no bills to pay, no problems, and no suffering at all.

I remember way back a month ago, where she used to preach during our divine service every Sunday about "Salvation". She always tells us that she don't like that she will only be the one who will go to heaven but she wants all of us, her family, relatives, friends and church members Will Go Together in Heaven. She also had these famous words saying: "See You in Heaven!"

At first thought, I am quite scared hearing that words from her but lately, I came to realize that she was right. We should not be scared or be afraid of dying because all of us will go there. When somebody is telling you "See You in Heaven!" then AMEN for that and we should be thankful that we will see each other in Heaven. It is even more scary if we will say, "See You in Hell!", right?

Though we feel the longingness and we miss her presence here with us, her good memories, the laughter and tears but as time goes by, all of her encouraging and inspiring words left for us will surely be cherished and loved.
